JSAS-Call for Articles for Vol. 32

The Journal of the Society for Armenian Studies (JSAS) invites scholars to submit
original research articles and forum proposals for consideration in its upcoming issue,
Vol. 32 (2027). The first of two special volumes (Vol. 30) marking the Society of
Armenian Studies’ 50th Anniversary will be released by the end of 2025, followed by the
second (Vol. 31) in 2026.

As the leading academic journal for Armenian Studies in the Western Hemisphere,
JSAS is dedicated to advancing scholarship in this field. The journal publishes peer-
reviewed research from all disciplines and comparative perspectives related to
Armenians and Armenian Studies. Committed to making the field relevant to a diverse
interdisciplinary audience, it aims to promote new directions, encouraging submissions
that are global, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary, aligned with cutting-edge scholarly
work across different periods and areas of research.

Submission categories:
-Research Articles: 8,000–10,000 words, including endnotes.
-Forums: Proposals for a dedicated section on a specific topic, featuring multiple
authors to foster open discussion.

Submission guidelines:
All submissions undergo a thorough double-anonymized peer review. Please consult
