The Society for Armenian Studies (SAS) welcomes proposals to sponsor pre-organized panels at major professional society conferences. If you plan to organize a panel for any of the meetings listed below, please submit a complete panel abstract to SAS Vice-President Asya Darbinyan at asyadarbinyan@gmail.com no later than January 30, 2026, prior to the conference’s final submission deadline. This will ensure eligibility for consideration for SAS financial sponsorship. SAS will provide partial travel support for participants in approved panels.

MESA 2026 Meeting will be held in person in Boston, MA, November 21-24, 2026.
Deadline: Proposals must be submitted by February 17, 2026.
This year, SAS plans to hold its Annual Membership Meeting in conjunction with the MESA Annual Meeting in Boston.

ASEEES 2026 Convention will be held in person in Chicago, IL, November 12-15, 2026. The Virtual Convention will be held on October 16-17, 2026.
