Call for Papers

The XI International Conference on Armenian Linguistics

 

            The Eleventh International Conference on Armenian Linguistics will take place in Yerevan from 2 to 5 October 2017 at the Institute for Language of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. Reports will be welcome on the following topics:

• Issues of Synchrony and Diachronic from any period of development of Armenian language and its dialects.
• Linguistic contacts of Armenian language.
• The Corpus Linguistics of Armenian language.
• Socio- and Psycholinguistics aspects of Armenian language.

 

Those willing to participate in the conference should fill out the enclosed application and submit preliminary abstract before December 31, 2016 to internarmling11@gmail.com.

The official languages of the conference are Armenian, English, French, German, and Russian. You may submit the application in any of these languages.

Parallel sessions will be offered at the conference with 15 minutes allotted per report. 10 minutes per discussion.

Selection of the participants will be made based on anonymous reviews of the submitted theses. Participants will be informed on their status in the conference by June 15, 2017. Theses will be published in the beginning of the conference and will also be available online.

Unfortunately, the conference organizers don’t have funds available to cover the travel and lodging expenses of the participants. However, we will be ready to present letters of recommendation which may be required in order to receive financial support individual participants from other entities.

Հայ լեզվաբանության 11-րդ միջազգային գիտաժողով

Հայ լեզվաբանության 11-րդ միջազգային գիտաժողովը անց է կացվելու 2017 թ. հոկտեմբերի 2-ից 5-ը Երևանում՝ Հայաստանի Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի Հր. Աճառյանի անվան լեզվի ինստիտուտում: Գիտաժողովի համար նախատեսվում են հետևյալ խորագրերով զեկուցումներ՝

• Տարժամանակյա և համաժամանակյա ուսումնասիրություններ հայոց լեզվի և բարբառների պատմության տարբեր շրջափուլերի վերաբերյալ:
• Հայերենի և այլ լեզուների միջև առկա փոխառնչություններ
• Հայոց լեզվի կորպուսային լեզվաբանություն
• Հայոց լեզվի հանրալեզվաբանության և հոգելեզվաբանության հարցեր:

Այս գիտաժողովին մասնակցել ցանկացողները կարող են լրացնել առաջարկվող հարցաթերթիկը և մինչև 2016 թ. դեկտեմբերի 31-ը, ուղարկել զեկուցման հիմնադրույթների նախնական տարբերակը՝ հետևյալ էլ. հասցեով internarmling11@gmail.com:

Գիտաժողովի պաշտոնական լեզուներն են հայերենը, անգլերենը, ֆրանսերենը, գերմաներենը և ռուսերենը:

Գիտաժողովին նախատեսվում են համաժամանակյա նիստեր, զեկուցումների տևողությունը՝ 15 րոպե, քննարկումներինը՝ 10 րոպե: Զեկուցումների ընտրությունը կատարվելու է անանուն գրախոսության հիման վրա:

Զեկուցողները գիտաժողովի իրենց մասնակցության մասին կտեղեկացվեն 2017 թ. հունիսի 15-ին: Զեկուցումների հիմնադրույթների ժողովածուն կհրատարակվի գիտաժողովի նախօրեին և հասանելի կլինի նաև համացանցային տարբերակով:

Ցավոք, կազմակերպիչները գիտաժողովի մասնակիցների ճանապարհածախսը հոգալու ֆիանսական մեծ հնարավորություններ չունեն, բայց պատրաստ են տրամադրել անհրաժեշտ փաստաթղթեր, որոնք մասնակիցներին հնարավորություն կտան գտնելու կողմնակի ֆինանսական օգնություն այլ կազմակերպությունների կողմից:
