Description
The Department of History at the University of Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Modern Middle Eastern/North African  History (loosely defined, 18th-20th centuries) to start on or after July 1, 2022.  We welcome applicants with any specialization within that broader field.

Qualifications
Candidates must have earned the PhD degree prior to the start of the appointment.
